Hearts of Oak legend Charles Taylor, is calling for the demotion of more of than half of the squad after a disappointing campaign this term.
He believes only six players are competent to feature for the Phobians.
Hearts endured an embarrassing 4-1 defeat inflicted by Tamale City at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory over King Faisal on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The twenty-one time champions lie fourth on the league table with 45 points, five shy of leaders Aduana Stars.
“Only six players of current Heartsof Oak deserve to play for the team. The rest should be demoted to Auroras for Don Bortey to teach them how to play because they lack and they’re not hearts of oak Materials,” Taylor said in an interview with Angel TV.
