The head coach for the local Black Stars, Annor Walker has named a 25-man squad for the upcoming CHAN qualifier against Benin.
The Ghana team nicknamed the Black Galaxies has been in camp for a while and played a friendly against Kenpong Football Academy earlier today.
With just a week to the first leg of the encounter against Benin, Coach Annor Walker has trimmed his squad down to the final 25.
The team has three goalkeepers including Asante Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim. Hearts of Oak poster boy Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is the top attacker in the team together with prolific striker Agyenim Boateng of Dreams FC.
From the squad, Coach Annor Walker has selected highly-rated midfielder Gladson Awako as his team captain.
The experienced midfielder will be assisted by Medeama’s Vincent Atingah as 1st Vice Captain and Asante Kotoko’ Imoro Ibrahim as 2nd Vice Captain.
