The Black Galaxies have eliminated Benin to secure qualification to the last stage of the CHAN 2023 qualifiers.
Ghana scored the only goal in Porto-Novo through Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh as the encounter ended 4-0 on aggregate.
A week ago, Annor Walker’s side destroyed the Benin 3-0 in the first-leg at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana will now face Nigeria in the next round of the qualifiers which is scheduled on the 26th to 28th August in Ghana and return leg encounter on 2nd to 4th September 2022 in Nigeria.
The Black Galaxies are hoping to qualify over Nigeria for the tournament in Algeria coming January 2023, after failing to qualify for the last three editions of the championship.
