Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker is promising a “different attitude” from his players in their second group game against Sudan in the 2022 African Nations Championship.
The Galaxies suffered a shock 2-1 defeat in their opener against Madagascar on Sunday with Walker citing lack of focus and “minor mistakes” as causes for the loss.
Ahead of Thursday’s crucial encounter with the Sudanese, Walker insists the playing-body have accepted their below-par outing in the first match and remain keen to right the wrongs in the second.
“After the game, the players were really down because we lost the game. We have met as a team and I can see how focused they are on Thursday’s game,“ he said.
“They know what is at stake on Thursday. They are ready and their attitude will be different on Thursday.”
The game will kick off at 7pm.
