Black Galaxies captain, Gladson Awako was forcefully substituted after picking up injury in the friendly encounter against Algeria.
Awako lasted a little over the first quarter of the match and was substituted for Sylvester Simba.
Officials of the team are yet to reveal the extent of the injury.
The Hearts of Oak man is now racing ahead of time with the CHAN 2022 tournament set to start in five days.
The match ended goalless between Ghana and Algeria in Algiers.
The Black Galaxies will wrap up their preparations against Mozambique on Tuesday before departing for Constantine where they will play their group stage matches.
