Former Roma attacker Antonio Cassano did not mince words when discussing Nicolo Zaniolo’s future as the 22-year-old continues being linked with a move to Juventus.
“So, Zaniolo is supposed to be good? I don’t like him,” Cassano said on BoboTV. “In my opinion he’s not a difference-maker because he lacks quality.”
“Why should Juve be interested in him? There’s so many other players his age that are much more talented than him. Even when he’s physically fit he shoots straight, doesn’t know how to dribble, can’t put a final pass right, doesn’t know how to assist and relies too much on physical strength.”
“If I were Juve I would never consider signing him for €50 million. I would steer clear of him. It would be an insane thing to do.”
