Asante Kotoko captain Ibrahim Danlad has issued an apology to fans following the club’s recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors’ form has significantly declined in the second half of the season, managing only a draw and suffering seven losses in their last nine league fixtures.
This disappointing run has left them in 11th place on the league table with 33 points.
Speaking to the club’s media, the goalkeeper expressed his apologies to the fans.
“We would first like to apologize to our supporters because we know they don’t deserve this kind of result and the things that are happening in the team,” Danlad said.
However, we want to assure them that we will do whatever it takes to turn it around.”
Kotoko is set to face league leaders Samatex 1995 this Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a critical Week 27 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
