‘Can’t wait to have you back’ – betPawa after GPL cleared to resume

Ghana Premier League headline sponsor, Betpawa are on cloud nine following the return of top-flight football in the country after weeks of absence.

On Tuesday, a high court abrogated an injunction that had halted league games for close to a fortnight, paving way for the 2022/23 season to re-start.

In a statement, betPawa thanked fans for their patience and added that they “can’t wait” for supporters to fill the various stadiums on matchday yet again.

The company said it will continue to work closely with the various stakeholders in Ghana football, including the Ghana Football Association to ensure the growth of the game in Ghana.

“We can’t wait to have you back in the stadiums and enjoying the games with us. We are looking forward to working even more closely with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the clubs, the players and the fans as well to support the growth of football in the country as we make a lasting difference through our shared passion for the game.”

We would like to thank you all for your patience during this time.

See you at the next game!

-ENDS-
