CAF Women’s CL: Ampem Darkoa Ladies through to semi-finals of WAFU B qualifiers after beating Athleta FC 1-0

Ghana Women’s Premier League side, Ampem Darkoa Ladies have advanced past the group stage of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Three-time Ghana Women’s Premier League champions are representing the country in the qualifiers for the second edition of the Women’s Champions League.

Today, the team locked horns with Athleta FC in the third Group B game of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.

Courtesy of a narrow 1-0 win thanks to a strike from Mavis Owusu, Ampem Darkoa Ladies are through to the semi-finals of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.

The Ghana Women’s Premier League side will now prepare to take on Ivorian club, African Sports d’Abidjan.
