CAF Women’s CL: Ampem Darkoa Ladies through to final of WAFU Zone B qualifiers after beating African Sports

Ghana Women’s Premier League side, Ampem Darkoa Ladies are through to the finals of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League tournament.

The club after winning the Ghana Women’s Premier League last season are hoisting the flag of the country on the continent.

Today, the team locked horns with African Sports in the semi-final encounter of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the upcoming women’s champions league.

At the end of the 90 minutes both teams scored once and had to proceed to play extra time. with no goals after the extra 30 minutes, Ampem Darkoa Ladies secured a 6-5 win in the penalty shootout.

Thanks to the victory, the Ghanaian Women’s Premier League team are through to the finals of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.

A win will secure the team qualification to represent Ghana in the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.
