Black Stars coach Otto Addo will make good use of the September window to prepare his team for the World Cup in Qatar.
This is after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) postponed the next round of qualifiers for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire to next year to allow the continent’s five World Cup representatives the opportunity for better preparations towards the global event.
Match day three and four of the qualifiers have been moved to March 20-28, 2023.
CAF in a statement said matchday five will now be on June 12-20, 2023, while match day six will be played on September4-12, 2023.
Addo and his technical crew will feature in a couple of friendlies in the free-September month to fine-tune the Black Stars squad.
