The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a Burundian officiating team for Bibiani Gold Stars FC’s CAF Champions League preliminary-round clash with Algerian giants JS Kabylie.
The first-leg encounter is set for Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Georges Gatogato will take charge of proceedings as the centre referee, with fellow Burundians Emery Niyongabo and Olivier Nibogora running the lines.
Bertrand Manirakiza has been designated as the fourth official.
CAF has also confirmed Nigeria’s Alhaji Babagana Kalli Kalli as the Match Commissioner for the tie.
Gold Stars, making their bow in the continent’s elite club competition, will be eager to secure a convincing result at home before travelling for the decisive return leg.
