Medeama SC have became the first Ghanaian club to secure qualification to the CAF champions league group stages after Berekum Chelsea in 2012.
The Tarkwa-based side secured spot for the upcoming group stages after beating Guinean gaint Horoya AC 4-3 on aggregate in the second preliminary round.
This was after securing a 3-1 victory in the first leg at the Cape Coast stadium.
The Ghana Premier League champions will discover their group stage opponents in the coming weeks.
