Asante Kotoko marksman Franck Etouga Mbella will be unavailable for their CAF Champions League preliminary stage first leg clash against RC Kadiogo.
The Cameroonian striker was not part of the 22-man squad that traveled to Benin on Thursday morning due to injury.
The game will played at the General Mathieu Kereku Friendship Stadium in Cotonou, Benin on 12th September, 2022.
Kotoko will hope to have him back in time for the return fixture scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
Mbella was the club’s top scorer last season as his 21 league goals helped the Porcupine Warriors clinch their 24th Premier League title.
