Medeama SC trainer Evans Augustine Adotey is elated after his side’s victory against CR Belouidad in the CAF Champions League second group game on Friday.

The Mauve and Yellow lads staged a 2-1 come back win against their Algerian opponents at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium

CR Belouidad took the lead in the 39th minute via a spot kick which was converted by Abdelraouf Benguit before former WAFA SC hitman Daniel Lomotey levelled up for the Ghanaian champions in the final minutes of the first half.

Four minutes into the additional minutes of the second half, defender Mamudu Kamaradin netted to secure a 2-1 victory for Medeama SC.

“All that I am saying is we are happy today for the 3 points. We have 3 points, Belouizdad has 3 points, Al Ahly has 4 points …”, added the coach.

Medeama SC’s next game is against Tanzanian champions Young Africans SC at the Baba Yara Stadium next Friday.
