GoldStars coach Frimpong Manso says the club’s CAF Champions League debut offers a massive growth opportunity for players, management, and the technical team.
After winning their first-ever Ghana Premier League title, GoldStars will represent Ghana in the continental competition for the first time.
“For the club, it’s the first time in history. It’s something that’s good for the players, for the management, and the technical team,” Manso told Joy Sports. “It’s a very big stage.”
The club has strengthened its squad as preparations intensify, with Manso hopeful that the experience will raise standards on and off the pitch.
GoldStars will learn their preliminary round opponents on August 12 when CAF holds the official draw.
