Dreams FC attacker John Antwi has earned a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter finals Team of the Week after inspiring his side’s triumph over Stade Malien on Sunday.
The Still Believe lads staged a 2-1 comeback victory over the Malian team in the first leg fixture at the Stade du 26 Mars.
Yoro Mamadou Diaby drew the first blood of the game to put Stade Malien 1-0 up after 53 minutes before John Antwi levelled thirteen minutes later.
Antwi netted a penalty to put the visitors in front which was ultimately enough to secure a first-leg advantage.
The Ghanaian MTN FA Cup champions now need a draw to qualify for the semi finals in their debut participation.
The second-leg is scheduled for April, 7 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
