On Tuesday night, Cadiz hosts Osasuna at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla in a game that is vital for both teams’ objectives heading into the final straight of La Liga season 2022/23.

The Yellow Submarine has won just one of their previous seven matches in the Spanish top flight. Last time out, Sergio’s team drew 0-0 at relegation rivals Espanyol.

The draw means that Cadiz remains just two points clear of La Liga’s relegation zone.

The home side’s biggest issue of late in La Liga has been scoring goals, as they have now failed to score in three of their last four games in the Spanish top flight.

Cadiz’s recent home form has hindered their survival chances, as they have failed to win in three league matches on home soil, having suffered back-to-back home losses against Sevilla and Getafe.

They have also conceded two goals in each of their last three outings in the Spanish top flight.

Despite a recent mixed set of results in La Liga, the team from Pamplona are still in the race for the European spots in the Spanish top-flight this season. They find themselves six points adrift of the top six heading into this encounter.

An impressive 3-2 home win over Real Betis last time out in the Spanish top-flight means that Osasuna has now won two of their previous three league games.

The visitor’s recent games have tended to produce lots of goals, with over 2.5 goals scored in four of their previous five matches in La Liga.

Osasuna has not travelled well of late in the Spanish top flight, as they have won just once in nine away games.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that Osasuna will record a victory in a low-scoring encounter to boost their top-six hopes and dent Cadiz’s survival chances.
