The Spanish top flight action continues on Saturday evening and features this upcoming La Liga clash between Cadiz and Elche at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla with both teams looking to add to their points tallies and in turn ease their respective relegation worries.
Form and results for Cadiz have been a bit of a mixed bag for the hosts as they’ve managed to capture just three wins out of their last 12 matches overall, with victories collected against the likes of Rayo Vallecano, Villarreal and most impressive of all, a 1-0 win away at Barcelona.

Only four defeats within this period suggests Cadiz stand a chance of a result here although a draw may also be more likely as five of these last 12 games ended in stalemate.
Also on the cards is the prospect of both teams scoring as nine of Cadiz’s 17 home games have seen both teams hit the back of the net.
In addition, each of the previous three meetings against Elche have also seen both teams notch, so this option is worth bearing in mind.
Onto Elche, and the visitors currently occupy a safer 13th place in the La Liga standings.
But although they possess a comfortable looking eight-point cushion over third from bottom outfit, Granada, there are still four matches remaining of this La Liga campaign.
So the visitors will be eager to ensure their Spanish top flight safety as soon as possible.
Despite finding themselves on the end of three league defeats on the trot recently in La Liga, losing to Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad respectively, Elche have since turned their fortunes around by putting together a three-match unbeaten run in recent weeks.
Back to back wins against Mallorca and Real Betis were followed by a draw with Osasuna, meaning the visitors have picked up a total of seven points from the last nine on offer overall.
Wins on the road though have been sporadic where Elche have been concerned, indeed, the visitors have managed to win just four matches on their travels throughout this campaign to date along with 10 defeats.
So the prospects of goals in this upcoming encounter at Cadiz may be tempting.
Nine of Elche’s 17 away games have also seen both teams score, so the goals market may be the best option here.
