Thai champions Buriram United have completed the signing of Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Toku as they strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 season.
The former Ghana youth international joins the Thai top-flight side on a free transfer after parting ways with Belgian Pro League club OH Leuven at the end of his contract.
Toku, who became a free agent this summer, has agreed to a permanent deal with the club popularly known as the “Thunder Castle.”
He has previously played for Denmark’s Aalborg BK, Cypriot side AEL Limassol, and Bulgarian outfit Botev Plovdiv during his time abroad.
Buriram United are confident Toku’s exposure across multiple European leagues will add depth and creativity to their squad.
The Ghanaian is expected to play a key role as the club pushes to defend its domestic league title.
Toku left Ghana in 2019 after rising through the ranks at Kasoa-based Cheetah FC and has since built a career across several European football destinations.
