Former Ghana Football Association Technical Director Francis Oti Akenteng has poured out plans of revitalizing the Black Stars by suggesting the youngsters should be the priority.
His call comes after Black Stars got eliminated from the first round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after failing to pick up a win in three matches.
The recent AFCON group-stage elimination is the third time Ghana has failed to progress, to the knockout phase of a major tournament in two years.
“We have extremely talented youngsters in the Black that we could build team around them for the future with the fusion of our best locally based players” Akenteng told Max TV in an interview.
The GFA acknowledged the decline inform of the senior national team and promised to fix the problem.
