KF Egnatia forward Raphael Dwamena is dead after passing out on the pitch in their home game against Partizani in the Albania league.
Dwamena started the game and featured just 24 minutes before the sad demise.
His health problems has been a worry throughout his short career which was key in English Premier League side Brighton’s decision to pull out from signing him back in 2017.
The 28-year-old striker joined the Albania side two seasons ago from BW Linz.
He scored 9 goals and provided four assist in 10 games for Egnatia in the Albania top flight league campaign this season.
Dwamena made seven appearance for the Black Stars and scored two times with an assist.
Dwamena featured for clubs like FC Zurich, Levante, Real Zaragoza, Vejie, BW Linz etc
