The Black Stars will open camp in Casablanca this weekend as preparations intensify for their decisive 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.
Technical staff and home-based duo Benjamin Asare and Prince Owusu are expected to leave Accra on Saturday to join the rest of the squad.
Coach Otto Addo has named a 24-man squad for the assignment, which includes established figures such as captain Jordan Ayew, Alexander Djiku, Thomas Partey, and Mohammed Kudus.
Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare also maintains his place among the selected players.
The team is scheduled to hold three training sessions in Morocco before the fixture, with the full complement of players expected in camp by Monday.
Ghana will then face the Central African Republic at Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
With two games left in the campaign, the Black Stars lead Group I with 19 points and remain firmly in the race to secure a fifth appearance at the global showpiece.
