The Black Stars wasted no time getting back to work after their emphatic 5–0 win over the Central African Republic, returning to training at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
The team touched down in Accra in the early hours and headed straight to camp to begin preparations for their final Group I fixture in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Comoros.
All 24 players were present for the recovery session, with those who played fewer than 70 minutes engaging in field work and shooting drills.
The rest underwent light recovery exercises under the supervision of the technical team.
Otto Addo’s men, who currently top Group I with 21 points after nine matches, will continue training on Friday and Saturday before Sunday’s crucial showdown at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kick-off for the game against Comoros is set for 19:00 GMT on October 12, 2025, with Ghana needing just a point to officially secure qualification for the World Cup.
