Former Ghanaian international Isaac Vorsah has called on the Black Stars to step up their game as they pursue qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The four-time African champions put up a great performance in the just-ended international window by beating Chad 5-0 in Accra and Madagascar 3-0 in Morocco in matchdays five and six, respectively.
The wins pushed them to the top of the Group I table with 15 points.
“We have to work harder, as we want to qualify,” he told Nimde3 FM.
“We have qualified already for me but we have to do the work well, so that we can also go and watch some. So that we can be happy that as Ghanaians we have also come for the world cup,”
Vorsah, who had a distinguished playing career with the Black Stars, made appearances in three AFCON tournaments and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars will be back in action for the qualification campaign in September against Comoros and Mali.
