Black Stars disappointing loss in friendlies shows team’s level – Prince Tagoe

Former Black Stars forward, Prince Tagoe, has expressed his concern about the disappointing losses in the friendlies against Mexico and the United States, indicating that the team’s “true level” has been revealed.

Ghana suffered consecutive defeats against Mexico and the United States of America, with the matches taking place at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte and the Geodis Stadium in Nashville, respectively.

Tagoe has emphasized that it is essential for the technical team to assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses and work on them in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

“it is good for we to know the strength of our team before Afcon,” he told Accra based Angel fm.

“We have something that is part of the Football, there is some ego that out players doesn’t have it now.” He added.

Ghana will be in action in November’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar at the Baba Yara Stadium.
