The Black Stars have left for Ivory Coast ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations which kicks off on January 13th.
The four times African champions wrapped up preparations on Tuesday after engaging in a friendly against Namibia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo had met the team in a special send-off party, where the players were treated to some good entertainment from Afro dancehall superstar Stonebwoy.
Ghana hope to end the 42-year wait for the major title since 1982.
The Black Stars will open their account against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2024 before taking on Egypt and Mozambique on January 18 and 22 respectively in Group B.
