Black Stars captain Andre Ayew highlighted his supreme pre-season form for Al Sadd as he scored a superlative finish in their 7-0 triumph over Wiener Viktoria on Tuesday afternoon.
The 32-year-old cushioned the lead for Al Zaeem with a fierce strike from inside the area.
Ayew, who netted in last week’s 3-3 stalemate with Hungarian outfit Haladas, drifted clean off the opposition defender before unleashing a powerful effort beyond the goalkeeper.
The goal, which was the 4th of the match for Juanma Lillo’s men, becomes the second strike for the ex-West Ham United man.
The ex-West Ham United man, 32, smashed 18 goals in his debut season at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
