‘Black Stars are not the underdogs’ – Antoine Semenyo ahead of Portugal game

Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has rejected claims the Black Stars are underdogs in the encounter against Portugal.

The Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo has stated that the Black Stars are ready to defy all the odds to upset the 2016 European champions.

The four time Africans champions will lock horns with Portugal on November 24 at the Stadium 974.

“Anything can happen and obviously today’s game between Saudi Arabia and Argentina is clear of that but i think the ranking is just a number.

“It doesn’t actually mean anything so we are going to show the world that we’re not the underdogs.” he told CGTN.

Ghana have been drawn against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
