Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has described the Black Stars as a “work in progress” despite their recent victories in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The team secured back-to-back wins over Chad and Madagascar in March, boosting their chances of World Cup qualification.
Okraku believes the golden age of the Black Stars, which was seen in 2006 and 2010, has yet to return but remains confident about the team’s revival.
“Black Stars is work in progress. The golden age of the Black Stars in 2006 in Germany and 2010 yet to spark but the unbelievable support from Ghanaians has been amazing” he said in an interview with Asempa FM.
Ghana currently top Group I table with 15 points after playing 6 games and will be back in actions against Comoros and Mali in September to continue with the qualification campaign
