Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed that defender Tariq has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The 24-year-old joined Brighton from Chelsea in 2020 and quickly became a key player under former manager Roberto De Zerbi.
This season, Tariq’s campaign was hampered by injuries, limiting him to just 15 Premier League appearances.
Despite the setbacks, he managed to score two goals and provide two assists in the league.
Across all competitions, Tariq made 20 appearances and contributed five goals.
His commitment and impact have earned him this new deal, reflecting the club’s confidence in his abilities.
