Ghana’s Black Queens suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Morocco in an international friendly match at the Pere Jego Stadium in Casablanca on Friday.

The first half ended goalless, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.

However, it was the hosts who showed determination and scored the winning goal through Sakina Diki in the 90th minutes.

This match was part of the Black Queens’ training tour in Morocco under the guidance of new head coach Kim Lars Björkegren in preparation for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Black Queens will play one more friendly match against AS FAR before returning to Ghana
