The Black Queens have unveiled their squad numbers for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco ahead of their first game against South Africa on July 7.
Ghana will proudly wear white and gold as they take on top African teams.
Goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan will wear No. 1, while key players Princella Adubea, Evelyn Badu, and Doris Boaduwaa will don Nos. 10, 13, and 9, respectively.
Captain Portia Boakye will lead the team wearing No. 17, and young star Comfort Yeboah will wear No. 15. Princess Marfo will take the field as No. 7.
Ghana is grouped with defending champions South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania in Group C.
The team’s fixtures include matches against South Africa on July 7, Mali on July 11 and Tanzania on July 14.
The Black Queens are determined to bring home the trophy after years of rebuilding.
Ghana has a rich history in the tournament, having finished third in 2016 and runners-up in 1998, 2002, and 2006.
