Black Queens forward Stella Nyamekye says the team is fully focused and mentally ready to take on South Africa in the third-place playoff at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana suffered a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Morocco in the semi-final, while Banyana Banyana lost 2-1 to Nigeria.
Ahead of Friday’s clash in Casablanca, Nyamekye told the media:
“We have prepared very well for this game. Per the training we have had, we are mentally prepared.”
