Gotham FC and Fort Lauderdale United FC have mutually agreed to terminate Stella Nyamekye’s loan deal after six months.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward had been on loan to Fort Lauderdale since August 2025, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 14 appearances.
Nyamekye joined Gotham FC in December 2024 from Dreamz Ladies FC in Ghana.
Nyamekye’s international career has been impressive, earning her senior debut for Ghana at 17 and captaining the U-20 side at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Her skills and creativity have made her a valuable asset to the Black Queens.
Gotham FC had temporarily suspended her loan in January to invite her to pre-tournament training ahead of the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in London before returning to Fort Lauderdale.
