Black Queens forward pledges maximum effort for WAFCON Glory

Black Queens forward Princella Adubea is determined to win the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with Ghana.

She has been named in the team’s provisional squad for the tournament in Morocco.

Adubea urged Ghanaians to support and pray for the team, promising that the players will do their best to bring the trophy home.

“I’ve set my mind to give my best so we can win the tournament,” Adubea said. “Whatever it takes to keep myself in top shape, I’m ready to do it.” She added, “My message is simple: keep supporting us, keep praying for us. We promise to give our best and bring the trophy home.”

The Black Queens are in Group B with South Africa, Tanzania, and Mali.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will take place from July 5 to July 26, 2025, in Morocco.
