Ghana’s Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle intensifies preparations ahead of the crucial Olympic Qualifier against Zambia later this month, as she strategically scouts midfielder Jacqueline Owusu.
Hauptle’s recent trip to Spain saw her closely observe Jacqueline Owusu’s performance in the Copa de la Reina, where the talented midfielder showcased her prowess, lasting the entire match for Real Sociedad against FC Levante UD.
Real Sociedad won 1-0 and progressed to the next round of the Spanish Copa de la Reina on a 2-1 aggregate score.
Coach Nora Hauptle has already qualified the Black Queens for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and is looking ahead to taking the team to the next round in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers.
Ghana will face Zambia in a two legged encounter with the 1st leg set for Friday, February 23 in Kumasi, while, the 2nd leg comes off on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Ndola, Zambia.
