Ghana’s senior women’s side, the Black Queens, are in the United Arab Emirates for the 2025 Pink Ladies Cup.
The delegation arrived on Wednesday morning to kick off their participation in the invitational tournament.
The competition is part of a broader plan to prepare the team for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren recently unveiled his squad, handing call-ups to six fresh players.
The tournament will serve as an assessment platform for the technical team.
Ghana are scheduled to compete against Hong Kong during the event.
They will also test themselves against Russia.
Tanzania make up the fourth nation in the competition.
Their opening fixture is fixed for February 28 as preparations intensify.
