Black Princesses trainer Yusif Basigi has labelled his team’s training in France ahead of the 2024 African Games in Accra as a motivational booster.
The Princesses are currently in Clairefontaine, under the guidance of head coach Yussif Basigi with assistance from some coaches from the France Football Federation for a seven days preparations for the upcoming event.
The team expected play a number of high profile friendly games in Paris via before returning home for the African Games in March.
“It’s a good initiative taken by the Ghana Football Association and we are lucky to be the pilot based and l think that is good,” Basigi said.
“It has come at the right time and l think it will give everyone the fair idea of European traditional way of coaching. And this is a good motivational booster psychologically to prepare for the All African games,” he concluded
The 13th Africa Games will start on March 8 and Ghana’s Black Princesses are housed in Group A alongside Tanzania, Uganda and Ethiopia in the football competition.
