The Black Princesses of Ghana have departed the country for Guinea Bissau, for the first leg of their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
Coach Yusif Basigi and his team left Accra on Friday morning and are expected to arrive in Bissau later in the day.
The Princesses are eager to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers, with the prospect of securing another World Cup ticket.
The initial leg against Guinea Bissau is set for Sunday, October 8, 2023, and the return fixture is scheduled to take place in Accra the following weekend.
