The Black Meteors have secured a ticket to the U23 AFCON following a 1-0 win over Algeria in Kumasi on Tuesday.
Fatawu Issahaku’s header in the first half at the Baba Yara Stadium ensured Ghana progressed 2-1 on aggregate.
The first leg which was played in Annaba last friday ended 1-1 with Issahaku scoring a beauty from long range.
The 2023 TotalEnergies Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations will be staged in Morocco from June 24 – July 8.
The competition will also be used as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
