Bibiani Goldstars forward Ibrahim Laar reveals club’s target

Bibiani Goldstars forward Ibrahim Laar has revealed that the club’s goal in their second season in Ghana’s top-flight league is to finish in the top-four.

Gold Stars made their league debut last season, finishing 10th with 46 points. They are currently in fifth place and look set to surpass that mark this term.

The Bibiani-based club has been impressive this campaign, winning five, drawing three and losing three after 11 matches into the season.

Ahead of their week 12 fixture against Great Olympics on Thursday, the former Eleven Wonders marksman has asserted his outfit wants to finish in the top-four at the end of the season.

“Our target is to finish in the top-four but if the opportunity comes for us to win the trophy we will be happy”

“The main target is top four but there are a lot of games to be played so we can even win the league. We will take it game after game” he said.

Ibrahim Laar has bagged four goals after 11 matches and will be looking forward to winning the goal king.
