Bibiani Goldstars coach Frimpong Manso eyes winning start ahead of Samartex showdown

Bibiani Goldstars new coach Frimpong Manso is optimistic he will begin life at club on a flying note against Samartex on Sunday.

The miners will play host to the Timber Boys in the week 15 of the Ghana Premier League.

Goldstars have been in dismal form and are currently in the relegation drop after 14 matches into the domestic top-flight campaign.

The Bibiani-based club has resorted to the former Bofoakwa Tano tactician to revive their season following the sacking of Michael Osei.

Ahead of his first game, Manso insists Samartex are mot unbeatable as he aim to secure victory.

“They have different set of players and this time around another group has come in. They are now on top so, obviously their confidence level is high. But looking at that, it doesn’t mean the team is not unbeatable,” Manso said.

“They have only won away to Bofoakwa when they played at Abrankese,” he added.
