Betpawa Premier League: Nsoatreman FC coach Mumuni Abubakar blames referee for defeat to Hearts of Oak

Nsoatreman FC head coach Mumuni Abubakar has blamed referee Frederick Samena for poor officiating following his side’s 2-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Coach Abubakar was left disappointed in officiating insisting his side had a penalty claim which was not awarded.

“I didn’t know in Ghana we have human VAR until today when the referee had to resort to a human VAR to rescind his decision,” Abubakar told media after the game.

“To be honest, the referee is behind our defeat and he needs to go and learn more about the referee course.” He added.

Nsoatreman FC will host King Faisal at home whiles Hearts of Oak travel to play Bechem United in their next fixture.
