Medeama forward, Kudakwashe Mahachi, has expressed the team’s determination to retain the Betpawa Premier League title.
The Tarkwa-based club clinched the top spot in the Ghanaian top-flight league last season, marking a historic achievement for the club.
Despite a slow start to the 2023/24 season, Mahachi, who has featured in just one game for Medeama this season, voiced the team’s commitment to defending their league title.
“As I’ve mentioned before, being a foreign player, there’s a need to perform, so I’m not putting excessive pressure on myself,” Mahachi shared with the club media ahead of the Nsoatreman clash.
“I believe that my team is capable of achieving our goals because we’re winning matches. Our mindset is geared toward defending our league title.”
The Mauve and Yellows have accumulated 13 points after eight games.
