Legon Cities have shared points with Asante Kotoko after they played out a 1-1 draw at the El-Wak Stadium on Thursday.
Kotoko SC took the lead in the 15th minute through captain Richard Boadu from the spot.
Legon Cities stepped up their performance in search for the equalizer but Kotoko held firm as the first half ended in their favour.
However, the Porcupines lost their defensive solidity as Alex Aso scored from a header to restore parity.
Kotoko had opportunities in the dying embers of the match but were missed by Steven Mukwala and Richmond Lamptey.
Gazale’s side SC are still out of top four after week 23 while Legon Cities stay in the relegation zone.
