Karela United defeated Aduana FC 2-1 to secure their second win of the Betpawa Premier League at the Aliu Mahama stadium.

The last time the Pride and Passion boys won was week two fixture against Berekum Chelsea in Tamale.

Attah Kumi Samuel broke the deadlock in the 35th minute before Evans Adomako added the second goal in the 60th minute to attain the victory.

Gabriel Mensah scored from a long range freekick in the 78th minute but hopes of a comeback never materialised as the loss ended their five-game winning run.

Aduana still top the league table with 21 points while Karela United move up to the 12th position with 12 points.
