Betpawa Premier League: Hearts of Oak to open account in Tamale today
Hearts of Oak start the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season opener at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale against Real Tamale United.
The Phobians hope to start on a winning note to put their season’s disappointments behind them, having finished outside the top ten.
They have to do that with a new coach Martin Koopman after the departure of David Ocloo to Asante Kotoko.
Hearts also severed ties with some players from last season including Robert Addo Sowah, Konadu Yiadom, Gladson Awako among others.
RTU also lost Roland Frimpong and Sadat Mohammed.
Hearts lost 1-0 to RTU on their last visit to Tamale.
The Pride of the North have suffered one defeat in their last five matches against the Phobians, securing three wins.
The match promises to be an exciting one with both clubs seeking for a better season.
