Bofoakwa Tano head coach, Frimpong Manso has attributed his side’s draw with Heart of Lions to the AstroTurf pitch at the Sogakope park.
The league leaders came into the game full of confidence, having beaten Hearts of Oak in Sunyani at the Coronation Park.
But they struggled to get past the defense of hosts, Heart of Lions in the Volta Region.
“It was a very difficult game expecially in the first half, normally when we come out of the grass pitch to an AstroTurf, they find things difficult,” Frimpong said.
“For me, it has affected us in the game. We needed win but the draw is also not bad, because we protected the draw and our mentality is we don’t want to drop points.”
