Asante Kotoko have secured their first win of the season after beating Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League on Monday.
Kotoko had drawn two matches and suffered one defeat in the ongoing season.
The match was heading towards another draw for Kotoko before Kalo Ouattara struck.
The Ivorian met a pinpoint cross with a header in the 97th minute to claim all three points for the Porcupines.
The victory eases tension and pressure off head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who has not enjoyed a good start in his second coming.
The win lifts Kotoko from the relegation zone to 9th position on the league table with five points.
The Kumasi-based side host Aduana fc at Baba Yara stadium in their next outing while Accra Lions, who also have five points and sit 10th, face Great Olympics.
